We drink poison, yet we believe blindy it is a sweet nectar. Welcome to the age of impersonalism.
We all seek care, love and happiness at the end. Then why are we more or less under the global influence of impersonalism and suffer, although we are personalities, who are only happy, engaged in personal relations and association?
Love means giving and receiving, when given. Yet we thread ourselves like robots, programmed with a software to seek happiness. To take the love from others for ourselves.
Pain. Fear. We are afraid of the pain. Expectations. We are afraid of being used. Since the world is full of pain, most of the people have suffered more or less under personal relations with other personalities, no matter if being hurt or hurting the other side - these are the two sides of the same knife. The mentality "i was hurt or used, now i have to use and hurt" is leading to an emptiness - a black hole of complete loss of identity, with a gravity more powerful that the Earth's, where eye for eye will make the whole world blind. Everyone was hurt. Everyone was hurting other so many times. And we have to forgive and forget.
We are like a garden. A garden of Pure Love. Amongst the flower of Love, there are many weeds. A gardener should keep his garden clean and remove all weeds, who can cover the flower of Love and put a shadow over it.
Somehow we have come in a situation, where in our garden many weeds have grown strong and high: anger, fear, lust, hate, laziness, ignorance, selfishness, desire to enjoy and control. You reap, what you've sown. Somewhere, somehow, sometime ago... And the result comes for us in the early ages, because have to pay the price for our desires. Bad results (actually good as well) are like weed, which are very deep sown in the garden. We are born and since the seeds are already sown - soon the results come above the surface. Then archetype relations start to multiply and the same mistakes are being repeated again and again in our personal relations: through parents, throught friends, throught colleagues, through family, through children, etc. If only we stop pouring the bad seeds and pour our flower of Love - then automatically we will stop the growth of this chain.
Otherwise we remain on the impersonal platform and all our efforts to have personal relations face a dead end street, although we may develop personal relations, but always with the goal to lord over others and to keep our position of enjoyer and controller. An impersonalist claims that he himself rules over himself and he will serve only his higher goals. He will accept no guidance and not someone above him. We are all god and god is me. I am god and i am here to understand myself. God is a function of me, who will become an enlightened and perfect one. Sounds familiar? Yes, an impersonalists serves his own mind speculations and false ego, as well of course his body, family, society, planet, etc., although claims a state of complete independancy. Yet an impersonalist study all possible false teachers, spiritual practices, mystical activities and is attached to lord over others, although the impersonal point of view states that no one is lording over nobody and there are no higher authorities. Spiritual impersonalism seeks liberation, not exchange of loving relations.
Impersonalists may understand the power and equality of the Supreme Brahman and mostly will strive for spiritual freedom and lack of identity, but their eyes will remain always close for the spiritual diversity and the divinity of the Supreme Lord , even if He comes directly in their homes.
"I am my own Master" - snarled the homeless dog, who was standing in front of a butcher's shop, spinning his tail and waiting for another hard bone. This is the actual condition of all impersonalists, including myself.
And how to pour the flower of Love?
You reap, what you've sown. Unless there is a Higher Mercy. Personality means giving unconditional Love. Love is service, a service to the Supreme Personality of Godhead.
Most Pure is the One, who can open our eys and lead us to salvation from the venomous impersonalism and vast emptiness. Let's pray to such a Pure One!
